Janet & I began experimenting with starting live oak trees, from acorns, in 2013. We have learned from other growers and through trial & error experimentation. There are many variables involved in starting trees from seeds. We are still learning.
In 2018, we adopted the Carl Whitcomb method of starting and growing our trees, using Rootmaker propagation trays and Rootmaker 1 gallon and 3 gallon containers. The benefit of this method is an awesome root system, which enhances the future of each tree.
Now that we are RootMaker Gold Certified tree growers and have reached the point of being able to produce beautiful and healthy live oak trees, in Rootmaker containers, with excellent root systems, we are ready to market our trees, to the general public; as well as, to other growers, nurseries and landscape companies.
